Some areas were good but overall seemed to be a little erratic and ill informed.

Before I arrived at a&e I had an assessment through 111 who called a consultant before I was advised to attend a&e, yet still had to go through another assessment on arrival. The doctor I saw talked me through what was happening and what he was going to do but signed my release without discussing my blood test or chest xray results so caused a lot of confusion before I left including having my canular removed. I left in a similar condition as when I arrived and don't have much of a plan going forward apart from see how it goes!

This was our first visit to Doncaster for treatment after always visiting Leeds. I really appreciated the fact we were booked in very quickly and able to be seen on a Sunday - this meant less impact for my sons with school etc. We were welcomed straight away and very kindly by the staff. They had to take some additional information with it being Freddie’s first time there but this was all done quickly and with the upmost understanding. Freddie had regular observations every half an hour throughout. This was reassuring and put us at ease with him having a new medication. The doctor we saw was amazing, so kind and reassuring to Freddie who often can get overwhelmed when having treatment. She listened and kept him very calm, her care was outstanding. The nurses and health care assistants were also outstanding, they were so helpful and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed and more offering drinks etc. I came away just thinking it was the such a good experience given the circumstances. It’s often so stressful going through this for both the child and the parents but this felt relaxed. The staff were so efficient we were there as little time as required given the time to infuse the medication. They made sure we left with the relevant information to contact someone after should we need it. Thank you to everyone we saw on Sunday you were fab!

Received prompt great treatment. The staff is excellent. Professional, polite and empathetic. The ambulance crew arrived very quickly and were extremely efficient and professional.

Accompanied 87 year old mother, had bloods, checks done almost straight away on a very busy Friday and seen by a doctor.

Considering the amount of patients they were dealing with they were coping as best they could.
